Jennifer Quibell’s dance career began at an early age at Kirkwood Academy of Performing Arts. A versatile dancer and performer, she studied Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap, Musical Theatre and National. She studied dance at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, at L’Ecole de Superieure de Danse in Montreal and has performed with local companies Dancestreams, Royal City Youth Ballet Company in New Westminster and Kirkwood Academy Productions in Nanaimo. She trained with such teachers as Beverly Aitchison, Daniel Sellier, Mary-Louise Albert, Joy Camden and Dolores Kirkwood. Jennifer has recently returned to the West Coast after graduating from the 3 year Teacher Training Program at the National Ballet School in Toronto where she obtained both her Royal Academy of Dancing and Cecchetti teaching qualifications. She currently teaches at Kirkwood Academy in Nanaimo, teaching a variety of disciplines to all ages. Jennifer is also excited to be apart of the new Kirkwood Youth Dance Company as the Associate Artistic Director and Choreographer
